THE SERIES
MIXED BAG THE SERIES is a web-based written fiction series that centers on a group of concessions food service workers at a baseball stadium in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The wide variety of characters experience highs and lows in their everyday lives inside and outside of work. Family, social events, hobbies, and other activities come into play. Much of MIXED BAG THE SERIES is loosely based on true events.
MEET THE CREATORS
Marisa Menotti
The architect of the chaos. Marisa’s linework is as erratic as her sleep schedule, bringing a visceral, jittery reality to the world of Mixed Bag.
Sam Steinmetz
The glue holding the garbage together. Sam ensures that the cosmic dread stays on schedule, occasionally writing dialogue that cuts a little too deep.
Shane Mahn
The man who gave the bag a face. Shane brought the original MIXED BAG universe to life, creating nearly 50 characters and mapping out an entire town. His illustrations captured each character’s personality before they ever said a word, giving the world its first dose of beautiful, hand-drawn chaos.
